Desire for The Touch of Ice Royo Fantasy Statue Is Yours

Luis Royo is recognized as one of the best fantasy artists of the era and here is one of his painted masterpieces titled The Touch of Ice, featuring Hinatunaone. It's incarnation as a fine art statue by Shunjii Hagii is something for collectors who never get enough of Royo. If you already have a print of the original artwork, this statue of Hinatunaone, Woman of the Sands should be the next collectors' piece.

Hinatunaone is roughly 6-inches tall and that is more than enough to capture every detail of the dress and every curve of her figure as only Royo and master sculptor Hagii can show. There are only 2,500 copies of this statue produced. Each is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Black Canary Limbers Up for Action in Sculpture Version of Adam Hughes Artwork

The Black Canary is one character of the DC universe that always ready for action. She's the sonic siren who's able to scream at any anyone and blow them away with enough force to shatter more that just a crystal goblet! Here depicted in sculpture cracking her knuckles and apparently saying "Who's next?!" she's one girl you really have to see more of. She should have her own blockbuster movie.

This one is inspired and based on the artwork of Adam Hughes as sculpted by Jack Matthews. The statue version has more of a smile than a pout with hair that's a lighter shade of blonde compared to the painting's reddish-shade. Still, it's undoubtedly has Black Canary all over it with fishnet stockings, short vest, and black boots. It's one lady you don't turn your back to!

Artist Julie Bell's Golden Lover Painting Interpreted as a Fine Statue

Julie Bell is one of the most prolific of fantasy artists, depicting both male and female figures in exquisite detail and sensuality. One of her most famous from 1992 is Golden Lover (left), which shows a muscularly-defined naked woman entranced while embraced by a golden serpent. The artwork has been reinterpreted as a sculpture by Shin Tanave.

Tanave's version (top) is more feminine than what's depicted in the painting, with a lighter skin and less definition of the musculature of the woman. It's an ideal piece for a bookcase or desktop with a mythology theme. It's made of resin-quality poly-vinyl chloride (PVC) and is from the Fantasy Figure Gallery line of Yamato USA.
